Another sterling year for CTI Gulf. Extensive tube cleaning of steam condensers aboard ships has proven to be a solid success. Qatar Gas, Wilhelmsen, OSG, Anglo Eastern, Pronav and BP continue to jet-brush clean condenser tubes in order to increase efficiency. Tube I.D. fouling is the number one reason for poor heat transfer–Not anymore!! CTI Gulf welcomes National Gas Shipping into the fold for 2008.
Al Qahtani continues its stronghold in Saudi
Arabia, with repairs for ARAMCO at Yanbu,
Yanpet and Lubref.
Things are looking up in Oman, with repair
work carried out at oil refineries and gas plants in Sohar.
Bahrain is becoming a major player with
numerous repairs taking place at BAPCO and
Sitra. Good work by CTI agent, Corner Stone.
As is the case with marine work, CTI Gulf spanned the globe from Algeria to Singapore–with a few stops along the way to Australia, Europe and Trinidad. Everything was fine until we hit a foot of snow in London–what’s next? |
