CTI spanned the globe once again, repairing condensers and heat exchangers in over 30 countries across six continents.

CTI’s first ever sleeving job in Russia. Working with local partner, NORDWEG, CTI installed Full Length Tube Liners™ into damaged, plugged condenser tubes at a “heat station” near St. Petersburg.
CTI’s first order from prominent German oil company BAYERNOIL, calling for C276 Full Length Tube Liners™ into a new Fin-Fan Cooler. (Sound familiar?)

Here in the U.S.A., AES, Constellation, Dominion and Entergy Nuclear were a few of the electric utilities that required CTI to repair damaged tubes in steam condensers and various heat exchangers.

There were more “Liners” for BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil and Suncor. Other U.S. oil refineries were able to make repairs by using our thin-walled Shields – Diamond Shamrock, ExxonMobil, Lyondell, Marathon and Valero, to name a few.

The chemical sector was involved as well, beginning with Dow and Invista here in the United States, along with plants in Belgium (BASF), Holland (Dow), Mexico (CONSA, Celanese), Japan (Mitsubishi, Taiyo), South Korea (Hantech, KP, Samnam and Youngsan Chemicals) and Indonesia (KMI).
Further travels took CTI to more oil refineries, such as ConocoPhillips in the U.K., for what else? – C276 Liners into new Fin-Fan Coolers. (I’m noticing a trend). |

There were more trips to Asia as well, for huge refineries belonging to Pertamina (Indonesia), Petronas (Malaysia), SK Energy (South Korea) and Tonen (Japan). Shields and Liners, supplied and installed.
Besides the aforementioned trips made to Electric Utilities in Russia and Australia, CTI Shields were also installed for power stations in Japan, Korea, Peru and Pakistan – which included the installation of 1500 Full Length Tube Liners into condenser tubes for Karachi Nuclear.

While Horizon Lines continues to be a good friend of CTI’s in the U.S.A., CTI Gulf in Dubai leads the way for marine work around the world.

Shipyards from Bahrain to Singapore to Spain – and back to Dubai – were visited by CTI Gulf for Shields, tube cleaning, epoxy coating, etc.
In April, CTI Shields were utilized to repair six (6) LNGRV vaporizers in one of EXMAR / Excelerate Energy’s innovative Energy Bridge Regasification Vessels (EBRV).

Other noteable marine work included maintenance and repairs for Golar/Wilhelmsen – in particular the FSRU West Java and LNG Gimi.

|
The U.S. Navy docked the USNS Flint in our own backyard – Dubai Drydocks – for the installation of 6,540 CTI Shields into the main condenser. |
|
|
Land-based opportunities in the Middle East and Africa came to CTI as well, highlighted by a return to Sitra Power and Water, to install over 19,000 Shields into five (5) Multistage Flash Evaporators. |
